    Hey Brian,

Great stuff. I am a BIG fan of Marcus Aurelius also.

I published a book last year called the 3 Great Secrets, it's based on a 3,000 year old teaching of a very simple success formula. I have never met a person who knew it yet. I'm sure you'd love it.

All of us true Philo Sophy-ers need to link arms to help the world get their wisdom on, as you so aptly put it.

    All the Best,
    Kirk Heiner

    “Meditations” by Marcus Aurelius

Marcus Aurelius deserves multiple readings. Thank you!

There is always some Idea on which to meditate: Everything was made for a purpose.

Now is the time for me to review the talents and abilities lying unused for service to the community.

I have things I must do “someday” .but in reality I only have this moment to offer my gifts ---I must act now. I need to take the steps in this moment. DO IT NOW!

Don’t worry what other people think. As in “Frankel’s Meaning of Life”; I need to hold that healthy tension between the ideal life and my current reality.

What can I do today, since today is my future?

Peace Pilgrim shows how she "got on the mountain top and eventually never fell off" in her video of a talk at a college. Relates to the equanimity game. Researching that video, will forward if find.

    Hi Brian

What do you use to create your videos? What kind of camera? What editing software? What settings? I really like the way it presents and it seems to stream very well. Nice and smooth.

    Cheers... Rick :)

    These posts/comments are great.
These TV posts are super. I am surprised there aren't more comments.
•Equanimity: Excellent point. I think is good to “take counsel”/to listen/to seek input and observations, as we ALL have room for Kaizen…… But, it is a great idea not to give power or credence beyond what is necessary, a point that is violated far too often. A someone said: “Who died and left you to be King?” Like a GPS or rocket guidance system – it helps to A) Know where the center/rudder is and what it is all about, and B) know how to return to it as quickly as possible.
•Purpose: Effort, sacrifice and accomplishment are so much greater, knowing that you have contributed to the greater good. And knowing the Universal Rule that we get back what we put out, the more good we put out the more good that comes back to us – so that we can therefore – as you said so well, “circulate” the wealth/wisdom et.al.

Amazing how this knowledge has been circulating for so long, and yet how so few are willing to pursue the joys of discovery. Reminds of the Library Tote bag I saw: “So many books/so little time.” But, we have, generally, as much time as anyone else. And too, as indicated, time is precious – invest in it wisely.

Hi Brian! How do you play the equanimity game? Is is simply catching yourself when off balance and using what works for me to bring me back?

Btw, I really love that part about imaging that we are already dead and that every min after that is a gift to go back and live this life. That is so powerful. I hope to be able to make it a habit to think of that.

Thanks again for an awesome reflection session.
