So in agreement about how our subconscious beliefs about money control our experiences with it (One of my earliest childhood memories was of my parents arguing about money, there was constant fear on a daily basis around it, and the church I was raised in taught that money and anyone who had more that enough to just barely survive were evil...yikes! Needless to say, it has been a real struggle despite much hard work and my best efforts to keep any around- my subconsious doesn't want anything to do with it!!!), so I'm looking forward to digging into this PN and figuring out how to finally change my 4-year old's perspective on it. Thanks, Bri :)

Money,Money,Money. Brian speaks goldenly about how to have goals/intentions about money as supporting your Be-ing first and your having last....and how your having can support your Be-ing resultantly. Also good bit on listening to your Heartfelt mind vs. your wanting mind. Also showed how if we lessened our use of the words, "I," "Me", and Mine", we would have better health....less ego-centric preoccupation I would guess.
To skip the prelude, go to 2:12. to skip to the heart of the matter go to 3:29 or 3:51 if you want to condense the condenser. Brian You Rock It !

I love this episode! This speaks to my past challenges and current passion. Coincedently, before seeing this, I had a conversation with a friend of mine about this perception at lunch today. I heard or read a statistic somewhere (good possibility it was here) that 90% of working Americans are unsatisfied with their job. Think about how much time we spend in our day and life working! Now combine this wanting mind mentality and you can see why people pass through the revolving door of work, spend, work, spend, etc... I think this is the primary reason people get "trapped" in jobs they're unsatisfied with. They can't break the cycle and therefore don't have the capital to venture out and do what it is they are passionate about. Helping people recognize and control this mentality to break the cycle so they can enjoy life and and find their passion to begin giving back is why I wake up in the morning. It's not about what you can get, it's about what you can give.

    Very cool stuff!

    Thanks Brian,

    Shawn
